Fairly basic but functional

It’s a very simple app, and in that sense it does what it is meant to do. It displays each magazine as an issue and you can then move through the articles.

It doesn’t, unfortunately, have any more sophisticated features than that, which you might expect of an app like this. Other magazine-type apps I use have options to change the font size, and have reader modes, dark modes, text-to-speech, etc. This doesn’t seem to have any of those, which is a shame both for general use but especially from an accessibility standpoint.

Basic app but needs dark mode

A basic app that is better than reading the website in a browser, barely. However the app does not accept the subscription login via OAuth (E.g. gmail login), does not remember last magazine or article you were reading and does not have dark mode. In 2022!

I think the dev team need to get their development better. Apps like The Atlantic and The Week support dark mode already at an online subscription rate that is very similar.

Basic but works. But why are there 3?!

There are 3 mit tech review apps! Why? Each of them has entirely different content 😅… finally settled on this one. Who knows what the difference is … poorly documented
