Description
Molli Looper is a realtime stereo effect for looping and filtering.
Intended mainly as a live performance tool, no preparation is needed to trigger loop recording - input is constantly recorded in the background to be triggered whenever it is needed.
Loop timing is synced to host clock, and can be adjusted from multi-bar loops right down to 16th note drills.
The looped or unlooped audio is then passed though a lowpass -> neutral -> highpass resonant filter, based on a 4 pole ladder design for lush analogue style sound.
You can use Molli Looper either as iOS Standalone app or as AUv3 plugin.

Wow!
Loopers, up to now, have been slightly terrifying to me. This changes everything! I am stunned at how easy it is to use and just what you can do with it……things I’ve long heard in my head, but have never quite managed on traditional loopers. It works perfectly for me in AUM and Cubasis. Absolutely fantastic, it’s just one of those apps that you know you will be using a lot. Highly recommended.

One step forward, but…
MolliLooper is a whole lot more interesting and useful with the Freeze mode. All sorts of interesting blends can now be achieved, and the app has much potential. However, it STILL does not sync with DAW transport controls and STILL does not retain settings (including loop). No AU3 app should fail to do either of those things. Please fix.

Thanks for your feedback. Molli Looper is more of an easy to use "Looper effect" rather than "normal" looper. Not sure, if export audio will come soon, BUT we will introduce a "freeze" function, where audio recording will stop, so your loops get not overwritten anymore when leaving the looper mode. If you want to test it (soon), please join the beta test team
Too many problems for a simple looper
Utter disappointment. Crashes in Audiobus, no sound at the start of recordings and when I add effects it goes totally out of sync - even when I add effect afterwards and the delete effect after. I won’t go into the things it should have when there are so many huge issues with this app in its current state. I had such high hopes and unfortunately it came nowhere near close.
