Moody Membership

Moody Month offers two auto-renewing subscription options (monthly and annual) as well as a Lifetime option.

The subscription options will automatically renew unless turned off in your Apple Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can go to your Apple Account settings to manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew. Your Apple Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed.

The Lifetime option is paid for by a one-off upfront payment with unlimited access to the Moody Membership forever.

Moody Month integrates with the Health app to add your menstrual data and personalise your experience. Head to your Vitals (in the Account section of your app) to enable the Health app to sync.

Good but could be better

I really like the concept of this app and find it helpful to track my periods. But a couple of things that keep bothering me - why can’t I add a note on a previous day? For instance, I had a headache yesterday and didn’t think to instant record it but today I remember and would like to note it down to see if there’s a pattern. If I click on a previous day in the calendar and then click “add a moody moment” on that day, the note is tagged to today. As someone with irregular periods, it’s also kind of annoying to have to go in every day that it doesn’t come and delete the predicted period dates. Other apps I’ve used have a button to click saying “period started today” and the calendar figures it out so I only have to do it once.

Hi, thanks for this great feedback. We are already working on the retrospective logging feature and hope to have that up and running soon so keep an eye out for updates. The other concern is a great point too so we will discuss how we can improve this element.

Super helpful but could use some tweaks

ive always struggled to track my periods as i have adhd and i find organisational stuff like that really difficult. not only has this app helped me to track my periods really well its also helping me keep track with the emotional side of it too. while the logging feature is really great to help me work out how my period is affecting my emotions it would be really helpful if:

1) it was more clear as to what the sliders actually mean (the low/high labels work really well for some categories like stress and memory quality but dont really make a lot of sense for stuff like the relationship, friends and family sections)

2) there were a few more categories or maybe even an option to add your own categories? personally im finding that im a lot more impulsive and irrational leading up to my period and itd be really helpful if i was able to record this as a category so i can be more aware of it next time around

other than that this app is super helpful and is likely going to make my periods a lot easier to deal with in the long run.

Thanks for this review and the feedback. We do have the feature to customise your list, and you can also use this to rephrase things if that helps you with getting your head around the slider. All you have to do is go to the log page, and click the "customise the list" button. In there you can select/deselect from the suggested categories, and you can add a custom category if you wish.

Good but loud sounds when opening some screens

Just got this, seems like it’s going to be very useful. Only problem so far is whenever I click on ‘’more’ on the home screen items with info on what’s happening in the day and night of that particular day/phase, a very loud sound happens. I can find no way of stopping this sound, either in the app of through my phone settings and makes using the app with others around difficult. I’d be grateful if i could find a way to turn these sounds off. Otherwise, looking forward to using the app over the next few months (if I can get rid if the sounds) and writing a more informed review then.
