MyŠkoda 4+

I’m loving my new Enyaq, I’ve had it for a week so am still getting to know the car and the app. So far, what I love is the status of the car (telling me if I’ve left the boot open) feature, and my charging information.
However, the route planner is very basic. I’d like to be able to route plan for future trips without it being from my current location. For instance, I’m going to France soon and want to be able to route plan from Calais to La Plagne. I tried doing this but the route planner won’t let me put Calais as my starting point. And it doesn’t seem able to work out how to cross the channel tunnel so I can’t route plan from my house in London - i get an error message. This is disappointing as my partner has an Audi and his app allows him to route plan easily, adding how much charge he’d like to start and end on to boot.
It would be great if you could please develop the app to have these features, so that I don’t have to rely on third party apps to route plan.

I went from a Kia EV to a Skoda, and this app doesn’t stack up nearly as well as the car itself does. For example, while you can check if the car is locked out unlocked, it doesn’t send a notification telling you that you’ve left it unlocked and it doesn’t let you lock the car remotely.

Initially, I found it very tricky to set things up, I would send settings to the car, with no feedback as to whether the car received them, and the app would go back to the old setting. Sometimes the setting got through, but I wouldn’t know until hours later when the app finally updated. Frustrating. I got into the habit of closing the app and reopening it to check, but that didn’t always seem to do the job.

There’s also no trip data on the app, which I liked about the Kia app.

Another year of Enyaq ownership and I’m still loving the car. Sadly there has been no improvement in the performance of the app. It’s the one thing that spoils the overall EV ownership experience for me.

I don’t think they’re even developing the app or attempting to fix bugs. Nothing has changed in 2 years. 👎🏾👎🏾

Have had my Enyaq for a year and a bit, and I have to say the car itself has been fantastic. However, my overall experience as a new Škoda and EV owner has been severely let down by the performance of this app. It consistently fails to connect to the server so that battery level information is often ‘unavailable’. And when it does connect will show incorrect mileages for the available charge or it will indicate the vehicle is unplugged when it clearly isn’t. At one stage I also had a slow puncture in one of the rear tyres. The tyre pressure warning would come up inside the vehicle yet the app would still indicate that everything was fine with the vehicle. Really basic stuff that should just work. I continue to reinstall the app whenever there is a new update in the forlorn hope that these bugs would be fixed. But sadly the same problems exist as when I first used the app. It shouldn’t take this long to fix such fundamental issues. Until these are fixed the app is of very little use to me.
