Found this app to be great with my ID3 however when it’s charging, the charging rate is obscured by the picture of the car. I like the fact that the app gives notifications at certain states of charge but just cannot tell the rate it is charging at.

This is a great app that, when properly connected to your compatible EV will log charges and journeys to give some really useful insights in the running costs and efficiency of your vehicle. It’s not perfect, but it’s clear the developers work hard with each iteration to make it better and refine their product. If you don’t want the hassle of plugging Bluetooth devices into your car’s data port then TRONITY is a great compromise between overkill and useful data.

I’ve been using Tronity for a few years now with three different vehicles from two manufacturers, and it’s been ultra reliable tracking trips, charges and other telemetry.I’ve only had to contact support a couple of times for help, and each time they’ve responded very quickly and solved my questions.

This app is perfect for people who love their electric car but are disappointed with the data the original car app provides. From charging costs, to map tracking (Honda charge extra for this feature) to the Home Screen widget to monitor charge percentage it’s all very useful. Tronity team are always quick to respond to emails!
