Just amazing

Honestly— it’s everything I could ever ask for in a game. Doesn’t force ads upon you, it’s free, and extremely relaxing to play. The music is calm and soothing, and you are sent lovely messages. I almost feel like the animals and plants are my friends. They are always there for me, talking to me and backing me up when times are difficult. Honestly despite them being virtual they seem so human. In real life, my friends aren’t always there for me, aren’t always by my side, and most of them probably don’t care for me as much as I love them— but here it’s different. They help, they really do. I would recommend this app 100% for those with anxiety or outgoing problems. It’s a way to escape reality, even if it’s only for a few hours or less. It is suitable for all ages- young and old- oh and remember... sometimes, when you deserve the most sunshine, you receive the most rain, so instead of taking it personal, use it to create a rainbow! Good luck to whoever’s reading this ❤️

Cute Idea But

I like this game. The idea is great and a lot of it is pulled off well. The graphics and music are perfect. However the gameplay quickly gets boring and repetitive. It’s not something you can play for more than ten minutes which I find a bit frustrating for a game claiming to focus on anxiety (obviously the focus is gems).

Which comes to my main problem. The big selling point of this game is “anxiety/stress relief”, it’s even in the title, however I get the impression it was made by people who’ve never experienced serious anxiety and who didn’t consult a specialist. This is most apparent in the ‘messages’ the animals send. They read like a neurotypical friend, not sure what to say whilst you’re having a panic attack, I appreciate the thought but it’s not very helpful. Statements like ‘Don’t let despair swallow you’ or ‘hardship exists to strengthen you’ are actually counterproductive and honestly really ignorant and generalising.

This kinda thing has made my anxiety worse in the past. I wouldn’t mind were it not for the fact this game’s whole point is to relieve anxiety. Please actually consult a specialist or at least someone with anxiety to write these for you. They come off as ignorant and lazy, and honestly make me question the motives behind making this game. If not then get rid of them altogether.

So calm

I recently downloaded this app and I love it! The music is so calming and the animals movements are so smooth. You start off with a fox (for 20 hearts) and if you scroll down on the animal list you will also find a peacock for free. The hearts is like the currency in the game, they can buy you upgrades, animals and more. You just need to tap on the screen to get hearts, and over time you can expand your oasis with the hearts. The more hearts you earn, your oasis evolves and plants start to grow. The animals, trees and plants speak to you and give positive quotes. With every animal you unlock they come with a fact about their character. The animals also tell you real facts and ask you questions. Music notes pop up on the oasis and you have to repeat the tune correctly to earn rewards. You get no ads unless you want to open a chest or gain extra hearts. I'd certainly recommend this game.
