Search history all lost!!!! 😠👎

Really irritating that I’ve had to create a new account which means I’ve lost all my search history. Would have been nice to have been given the option to import / save this data rather than just deleting it, as that’s why I created an account in the first place. Very poor customer experience from what was originally a great app.. Each release seems to remove more useful functionality without any prior notification.... Disappointing !!

Hi, thanks for your feedback. When we set about re-building our new website and app, saving, converting and presenting old data was a big challenge. So we carried out research to understand the need for it. This research suggested that there was little value in a customer accessing old checks, particularly free look-ups, therefore we did not build it in to the new website and app. Your new account now means that any vehicle check you perform on the new app is also now available on the website and vice versa. We hope that you check back with us in the future and are able to utilise some of the useful and interesting features we'll be releasing over the coming months. Many thanks.

I love the app

The My Car Check app has been a great help to me in choosing my current car. As a result of using its FREE CAR CHECK. I was able to avoid buying a car that had previous unresolved MOT issues. Furthermore paying a SMALL FEE and finding out an in-depth history of the car I subsequently bought, put me in a good bargaining position as regards the car I bought and more importantly ALLOWED ME to make a well-informed decision. I would definitely recommend the MyCarCheck App, as I find the app stable, reliable and fairly quick, even on one of my older iPhones I still use (an iPhone 5s!). Thanks for reading.

I love the MyCarCheck app

I love the MyCarCheck app as it gives me access to a wealth of information about cars (nearly new and fairly old ones), such as MOT History, Car Tax Bracket & Annual Amount of Car Tax Payable, Engine Size, Date the vehicle was registered etc. AND IF ONE REGISTERS ( A fairly quick in-app registration with a valid email address and the choosing of a password), one can save within the app the HISTORY of the Vehicle Searches one has made. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND the app, as it alerted me to potential problems with a car that my other half & I were considering purchasing. EXCELLENT APP!
