Favourite food & symptoms tracking app!
This app is honestly amazing for any IBS sufferers. It’s very straightforward and intuitive, although it does have a user guide within the app should you need assistance with anything. I love that you can see the exact time you’ve made a diary entry as it helps me stay aware of my choices and it keeps me accountable. I’m also happy that I can go back to a previous day and fill up my diary if I was too busy to do it on the day. The graphs are helpful and I’m glad they are transparent about correlation not causation and that they include confidence levels. The graphics are ok, the app has a clean look, nothing fancy but nice and easy to use.
A few suggestion for the developers: introduce a trends tab, for example one of your competitors has trends graphs of how the bowel movements fluctuate within a week or within a month. That would be helpful as well as stress trends or maybe some way to see them both on the graph to see the correlation.
Also, it’d be good if you could fetch health data from Apple’s Health app and link the results to that. For example, a big trigger for my flare-ups is lack of sleep and I track my sleep on my smart watch so it’d be cool if MySymptoms could pick up on lack of sleep etc. You could do it for other smart watches too, like Garmin or Fitbit. Exercise and sleep definitely impact IBS so it’d be amazing if that was an option.

Absolutely fantastic app. If you are like me and you suffer from food allergy issues and other health related problems like reflux and a bad stomach this app is brilliant and ideal, and the best one I've ever seen. You can easily log and monitor what is going on to try to solve it and change your diet to make things better.
Well worth getting.
My only feedback for the developer would be, can you please add the function of reminders inside the app? And ideally so that the reminder displays a little number on the icon of the app itself?
This would really add to it because it's hard to remember to fill the diary in all the time when you have a busy life and the little number sitting on the app icon and a reminder popping up too would make this app perfect for anyone trying to change their health due to food issues.
If you have issues like this highly recommend getting it!!!!

Very good if you have a digestion problem
I was looking for a food diary app and this one does far more than I expected, so I’m very pleased. It’s well worth paying for.
The analysis functionality is very powerful. Perhaps a little bewildering at first, it’s worth sticking with it until you understand what the results mean.
Be prepared to record your eating in detail for several weeks. I’ve been doing it for about a month and I’m starting to get some good evidence to support my suspicions about what’s causing my own problems.
With a clearer user interface this would get five stars.
Update: After posting a long email with suggested improvements and not even getting an acknowledgment, I’ve had to conclude that the developers aren’t interested in user feedback. A bit rude if you ask me when they so actively ask for it.
