Works fine so far

Been using Wise for a long time, recently shifted to Nala. It’s (so far) cheaper so the recent gets more money. I’m still a new ish customer and I have seen reviews by people saying the experience got worse so o might be jumping the gun here but I haven’t experienced this so far. In terms of speed, I’ve had to wait a couple minutes with Nala unlike Wise which is instant. Also would be great to see a “payee details matched (or not)” confirmation instead of the general “if you didn’t confirm account details it’s on you!”

Developer Response ,

Thank you for this feedback with us, Nick. We are actively looking to improve the overall service we provide, and recipient name validation is definitely on our product roadmap. We hope to keep serving your transaction needs end to end in the meantime. 🩵

Regarding verification after I swapped my phone

When I swapped my phone my Nyla would not let me send any more money.I had not had a problem with Nala up until this point and I used it for just over a year maybe even two. When I had to verify my account they asked for a phone number and email address as normal with any banking system it did not work! so I got in contact with them and what they asked me for was private information that no banking app outside of your bank should ask for such as. 1 Bank statements pictures of my bank statement and a PDF version of it 2A payslip with my information on it. I do not see how this information would help these people to verify that the person who’s been using them for two years is the same person Now apart from all of this it has very much inconvenienced me because apart from not having access to these things because i’ve gone to Kenya for a six month holiday, and it’s almost like talking to a computer with them and I find that very annoying because some people have got other things to do than to sit down at a computer and start trying to sort out information for other people on a computer that’s their job I have got other jobs that I’m supposed to do not responding to their stupid emails

Most Useless & UNRELIABLE MONEY TRANSFER COMPANY

DO NOT USE THEM. This company is so useless I can’t explain. I used them more than 1s to send money to Ghana. Almost every time, they encounter problems with ‘their payment partner . The annoying thing is that because they want to earn their commission at all cost regardless of the sender’s predicament, they will tell you that they cannot reverse the transaction therefore you have to wait till whenever they are able to resolve it. Mean while other companies like LemFi are able to reverse transactions within 24 hours if not delivered. I will strongly advise anyone NOT to use them. All the other companies have phone numbers you can contact except this particular NALA. It’s not as if their rate is also the best.

Developer Response ,
