Public space

I think it’s really great to be able to see images and news, often in real time. It brings space exploration generally, and the work of NASA and other organisations in particular, directly into peoples lives, helping educate and inform, and hopefully inspiring future generations. It also reminds us that space is everybody’s domain, which is quite a humbling and daunting fact.
Individually, we almost all lack the resources to explore space. Through the dedicated and pioneering work of NASA and other agencies, and the individuals working for them, we can all experience space, and feel that awe and wonder of our universal home.
Thank you all those making it possible.

Wonderful App

I have been fascinated and awed by space since I was 11 years old, and this app is one of my favourites. I love being able to see the incredible images and read about current exploration projects and how the technology works.
My only issue has been that after my iPad upgraded to ios 14.4, I had to turn notifications from this app off as I found that the app froze and would not load if I tapped on the notification. Such a shame as I loved looking at the image of the day every morning. Now I have to remember to look, but at least tapping on the app loads it.

Believing

Hi I’m Nigel, I have lived on planet earth for almost 61, years and have always been fascinated by space exploration and I strongly believe that we are not the only living race in this great universe out there. I often sit in my garden at night and watch the international space station and satellites pass through and I get a sense of excitement run through my body when they do. When I was a child I always dreamt of being an astronaut but the closest I get to outer space is through my telescope. Keep up the brilliant work. Best regards Nigel.
