The NB On Call app has been created by GPs for GPs and it is only accessible by GMC registered GPs.
NB On Call’s aim is to foster a community where trusted GP peers can openly share both clinical and non-clinical problems, drawing upon the collective expertise of their peers.

Great for quick opinions from a peer group of GPs
I’m enjoying using GP Horizon. The community is friendly and supportive and helpful answers start coming quickly. I was reassured that every new user is verified as a registered GP as well.
As the user base expands, it would be great to see this develop; perhaps with different subject areas, nested comments and replies etc.

Needs an IPad specific app
Great app on a mobile but as theres not a specific one for an iPad it defaults to the mobile one which isn’t good as its a tiny screen and you can’t use a separate iPad keyboard as you can only use the app in portrait mode.
Good site for GP’s
Useful and can be used to pick the brains of peers... I’d recommend it!
