Replacement of Insta
I was so used to scrolling social media; sometimes for the sake of it, which is fine, but sometimes just to find something interesting. Now every time I want to read some random interesting stuff, I open Nerdish app, and I am loving it 👌
References? Writers?
Really interesting concept but I could not find any comment on the app or online regarding the background or academic authority of the writer(s) of the articles and there are also no references attached to the articles. It may be fun to feel like you’re learning but I have no idea who I’m learning from, whether they’re an expert in their field, and there is no way of verify their facts to determine their truth. If they can consider be more transparent with their process, I would consider re-subscribing.

We value and understand your concern, and everything we write in the app undergoes a rigorous and multi-staged fact-checking and editing process. We want to ensure we don’t spread misinformation and correct popular myths whenever possible.
That said, we don’t aim to replace a university course or a thorough subject study on a particular topic. Instead, our goal is to provide an introduction and a basic understanding of as many topics as possible. We want you to be able to think critically and shape your studies on your own if a subject piques your interest.
With that goal in mind, we want our texts streamlined and accessible to any reader. Texts interlaced with references would go against that. Generally, we write only things easily verifiable by an Internet search you can do yourself. Whenever we reference a particular piece of recent research, we leave cues in the text (like the name of the institution and the year of publishing), by which you can find the trusted source.
Fantastic concept and wonderful app
I love the app and I recently learnt the user can watch 30s ads to read multiple parts of an article(instead of buying the membership).
My only criticism is I want more articles. Keep up the great work!
