Night Vision Thermal Camera 4+

Although I can’t find a way to flip the camera, this app is great. It has many different filters for your camera. The thermal heat one looks very realistic but it does not show the actual heat of things (phone cameras aren’t capable of this, you will need to buy a special heat camera that attaches to your phone via the charging port, then download the free app that shows you what this camera sees if you want to see the actual heat of things). Overall, I highly recommend this app and it does have a negative camera which is very cool.

I prefer Night Eyes, this doesn’t work at all in low light, it’s a pity the Night Eyes app doesn’t support taking a video
Just downloaded this to try out a video, (which didn’t save) the screen was pitch black, tried filters, it just coloured the screen and displayed two little dots on the upper right of the screen which were distant street lights. I switched to Night Eyes and everything lit up so it can’t be my phone (XS Max)
Given one star because it was pointless to download it, can’t understand why all the good reviews were uploaded. It just didn’t work for me, maybe I’m doing something wrong and it just doesn’t work out of the box like plug and play. Maybe you have to have a degree in computer science to set it up….they don’t tell you that!

Right, this app is ok. The night vision just turns any light green (not night vision btw) and it doesn’t work in the dark. The UV light just flipped the colours so green became purple etc. The thermal camera (the reason why I got this app) is pretty much a filter and doesn’t actually work (I pointed it at my fire and then at some ice and it was the same colour). However this app is cool, I won’t diss that. You could definitely impress your friends and you could use the night vision for a game of hide and seek or manhunt because it outlines objects better so you can see people through grass for example. Sorry for long sentences.

Basically, don’t rely on this for night walks etc. But it’s cool nonetheless.
