*In order to use this service, Nintendo Switch software that supports this app is required. You can view a list of currently supported software within the Nintendo Switch Online app.

Improvement needed, what could be better

I only use this app for animal crossing and it does make it a lot easier to text, that being said it’d be nice to see some other features with the animal crossing game. Maybe the option to receive notifications when your best friends are online? I’d personally appreciate that i’m not sure about other people.

I’ve not used the voice chat option yet but i do wish that you could just use your switch for the voice chat instead of a separate app on your phone because it just makes things more of a hassle and you might as well just facetime someone so it’s almost useless.

There are a lot of improvements that could be made to this app and I really hope in future that the app gets better

Very good if you have Splatoon 2

The app is good, having a great shop for Splatoon 2 and letting me watch clips of smash Bros on my phone, by the one thing that we need is wireless voice chat. Just let us be able to voice chat using a phone and a Nintendo switch system (and maybe a headset) to chat via the app as then me and my friends (and nearly everyone else) do not need to be using laggy phone calls. This could of been resolved on day 2 of the switch as Nintendo could have implemented a headset option via holding the home button.

Tldr: we need wireless voice chat, good app for the games it supports.

Doesn’t work or have a good support system

I only rated this two stars because I can use the app for Animal Crossing. However, I also have Splatoon 2 and this doesn’t show up on the app meaning I can’t access the Splatnet (which is a valuable resource) or see my battle record. Super Smash Bros is also on the app despite the fact that I don’t have it. I’ve looked online and seen that others also have this issue. Where they only have ssb and acnh even if they only have one or none of the software.

There isn’t a functional way of asking for support as far as I can tell. You can search the existing forums and ask a question to the general public but you can’t directly ask a Nintendo employee for help. This seems like a flaw to me.

I like the idea of the app, but it doesn’t actually work. Please fix this.
