Ratings and Reviews
One of the best I’ve tried, but still lacking a few things
I’ve been tried out nkoda for the last day or two and I’m finding I love the interface when annotating, and the ease of page turns etc. As with most digital music apps though, I’m still finding the music available limited for what I need. As a trumpet player who has played for a long time but is by no means a professional, I’m struggling to find much. I’ve played my whole life so I’m a reasonable player, I play in windband’s and orchestras but most of the music I find is a bit beyond me. This is frustrating since I love the app. If there is intermediate stuff there, it’s proving hard to find. I like to play at home for enjoyment and sometimes would rather play something a little less taxing.
I do love the ability to upload my own PDF’s too, but I can’t justify the price if there’s not enough music. Hopefully I’m just missing something.

Hi always_loopy, Thanks for your review. We're really glad you're loving the annotation tools and other features on nkoda! We're sorry you haven't been able to find all the trumpet music you need. We're always looking to expand our library, so we'd love to hear what trumpet titles or collections you would like to see on nkoda at email@example.com. Our team of musicologists will look at adding these to our catalogue if they're not already on the way!
Fantastic tool for all Musicians & Genres
Future of music? I think so. At first I was a little hesitant to enter my details for the free trial, 9.99 seemed a little steep. But I will openly admit that I was wrong. There is just a whole world of music available at your finger tips, I can annotate freely without worrying about damaging the music. You get used to the way of searching for things, although it would seem that searching via a specific artist seems to be the most convenient way at the moment. I hope they add some kind of filtering system in the future but right now, I really can't complain.

Musician’s life just got easier
Few weeks ago the parent of one of my student got this app - their 8 year old son now always has the music I assign (the last few lessons he played so much better) and he now finds new music he wants to try. We even discovered music together during our last lesson. What a change - no more stress and loads more fun.
I have fifteen student aged between 6 and 12 years old. They are always losing the music, bored - I am going to encourage all their parents to try this app. Better experience and time saving for me.
