What a great app, worked right away
I can understand some people's reactions about this app as it can seem confusing how to setup, but I was amazed how quick I got every thing and running with custom buttons within 15 minutes.
My only comment is that it does not show your favourites and if this function exists I would love to know about it. I noticed another Kodi Remote app lists your favourites in a nice display.
Great app until iOS 14
Fantastic app, I’ve been using it for ages, but since the iOS 14 update the app crashes suddenly, without warning on both my iPhone 6s and my iPad 2020, both these devices are newly updated to iOS 14.0.1.
However, my iPhone 5 running iOS 10.3.4 the app still works flawlessly, so I’m pretty sure the issue is with apples update not Kodi remote.
Great Kodi Remote
I’ve used a few different Kodi remote apps a but I think this one is the best/easiest to use.
One feature I would like to see though is a better way to queue TV Shows. 2 features would be great:
- Long press on TV Show Season to open a menu with ‘Play all (in sequence)’ which plays all of the episodes in the correct order. Would be good if it also had ‘Play all (random)’.
- When viewing TV Show episodes list, would be good to have checkboxes on the left. Add a button for ‘Play episodes’ so users can play the selected episodes they want.
