◆ Permissions requested by the app:
OnPitch app requests access to the built-in microphone in order to be able to detect pitch and display the notes you sing. If the permission is not granted, pitch detection won't work. Microphone access can always be enabled/disabled again in your device's Settings/Privacy/Microphone.

Worth the price but would like to be able to hear it
The app does what it says and certainly helps one stay on pitch but it would be even better if you could play it back and hear the errors.

Picks up too much background noise
Needs to be able to ignore air conditioning and machine noise. Even when I’m not singing at all, this app thinks I’m all over the place. The whole reason to have a putch app was to work in a little training while in non ideal conditions.

Can we really trust this app?
I have a virtual instrument sampled by Alicia keys and apparently half those notes are off according to this app. Not sure I can trust it...

Hi there, OnPitch was designed to be used for the human voice. You can also use it for checking single notes on an instrument. It's not designed for detecting chords. I suspect this might be the issue here.
