Pace setter…

I have been with OPay from around inception and I must say the team behind it (listens most of the time). From the period when there was many glitches in app to present day with almost nothing to complain of in the app. This shows growth, consistency and a sincere drive to be a game changer in the world of fintech. That’s impressive.

My savings are safe, transfers has been processed promptly and successfully, and customer service though bot-y are quite responsive. There’d be improvement in that area I believe. I love the monthly savings report feature and would want to see line graphs in the future along with other yield vehicles too.

In summary, it’s a great app to have, that is flexible around customer need, for growing your wealth, and be disciplined while doing so should you want it. Thank you!

Major Improvements Suggested

I’ve only used this app for about 6 days now and I’m faced with two major issues:

1) To order more than one ride at a time. I was in Lagos traffic inside an Uber and decided to use OPay for the first time. After ordering for a ride, when the biker arrived he explained that he cannot carry my friend and I at the same time and there was no way for me to order two rides at once. It would be lovely to order for more than one ride at a time when travelling in groups.

2) Order for a friend. While I was in Warri I ordered for a OTrike for a friend. After the keke arrived and picked my friend on the journey all I could see on my screen was “enroute”, no update on the map and no ETA, I could only see where the rider was on the map of the city but even the routes were not updated. It was like a static page. The driver went off the suggested route and I was still seeing the old screen with no update or whatsoever. Don’t you think it would be nice to have an option to order for a friend or an elderly one? What do you think?

Another observation, why does your homepage look like an advertisement billboard? This is an app for crying out loud! You cannot be doing marketing on your platform for people that are already using the app! You guys better work on this before we start uninstalling!
