Upper case

First, let me say that I really love the Osmo.
I think it is both stimulating and captivating.
As a mother and a teacher, I was excited to purchase this for my daughter and she really loves it.
But the thing that lets it down is that the letters are in upper case.
In the UK we teach and learn in lower case through phonetic sounds. As the product is aimed at early readers I find it odd that the letters are made this way. My daughter cannot access this element of her Osmo as she does not recognise the letters this way yet.
Perhaps an alternative version could be available?
Also, in primary 1, teachers spend a huge amount of time 'unlearning' pupils who have been taught to use capitals in his way. It Hindus their ability to learn phonetic spelling and thus confuses them as they begin to read and write.
I would really like to see a lower case option here.

No good for British English kids

We are loving the Osmo experience but the words game doesn’t translate. It just so happens that many of the words are US English, so our kids are stumped. Popsicle, rope jump, ladybug, etc. etc.

Partly great. Some issues...

Just got this today. Device itself is great. Tangram game is good. Words not very good. Firstly why are the letters in uppercase? If primarily aimed at kids, they all learn lowercase first at school so uppercase is alien to them at certain age. This seems like a big error. 2ndly the clues are really obscure and hard in some instances and use a lot of American words, not great for UK. An example was a picture of wall of ice in the arctic with a boat in foreground on the sea. Ice was the main visual, and we all struggled till we eventually worked out the answer was Water. Great concept but needs s lot of work.
