Malicious compliance with fair trade rules
Australian fair trade rules state there must be a free option 'reasonably available' for paying rent.
Previously they required turning up in person to australia post is not it.
Now they have a free EFT option - but the bank details change every payment. Nonsensical.
How about just making direct debit payments zero cost rather than these blatant fudges. They are (barely) complying with the letter of the law and certainly not the spirit.
