Great for seeing what our daughter’s been up to

App is easy enough to navigate and understand, my wife and I very much enjoy the push notifications that come through every few hours letting us know what’s been going on

My only complaint with the app is that it seems to keep forgetting I’ve signed in. Whether it’s a bug or a feature, I’m not sure; but almost every time I open the app I have to sign back in rather than it picking up where it left off. If there was an option for it not to do that, I’d certainly use it.

Edit: thanks for the response, I hadn’t spotted the tabs within the settings. All good now.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. When logged into the app, you can configure a session timeout in your settings; this will allow you to remain logged in for a set amount of time of your choice (up to 30 days). Each time you open the app this will restart the countdown to log out. Hope this helps! 😃

Needs work

1) The login process seems flaky, often requiring several attempts by Touch ID, or it forgets that and you have to use password. Sometimes with Touch ID it will keep asking you after you are already logged in and you can click cancel.
2) It’s annoying to receive emails saying “a new meal event has been published!” but the email does not say what the event is. It is as if you are trying to push users into opening the app each time. An email or push notification could easily say that my child has had jacket potato for lunch etc. If this is for privacy reasons, maybe offer these as system notifications with an option to hide if not unlocked? That’s how other apps do it.
3) There seems to be a mix of events occurring either on the Timeline or Notifications sections of the app with no obvious pattern as to where I should look. The notifications section just says my child has a new Transitions post in the summary - why no title so I can see at a glance?
4) The app stopped working recently when there were important notifications re Covid from nursery.
5) Not obvious if response comments we make on photos etc. are seen by staff members.

Hi Matt thanks very much for providing us with all this feedback. We're are currently investigating the login issues you mentioned. With regards to the email notifications you receive, you can manage these from your app settings and decide which ones you want to receive by email (if any) by switching them on or off. Your other feedback has been passed on to our Product team for consideration to keep improving the app in future updates.

Great idea, not so great experience

I love the concept of this app and have found it invaluable, when it works but that is the problem. I have experienced numerous issues with actually being able to access it. When it works, I just press my finger and up pops all the info I need but there have been times when I’ve had to call the nursery to get help because the log-in no longer recognised my details and times where I just haven’t been able to get on it for days because despite trying both the typed log-in and the biometric methods, I am presented with an eternal log-in screen that never allows me to enter. I’ve currently been in one of these frustrating situations for the past 2 weeks. I see notifications come up on my device to say ‘new meal, nappy etc’ but can’t get onto the app to check. App is fully up to date with no apparent issues besides that the log-in screen is simply unreliable at best. It’s so annoying that I’ve stopped bothering with it recently.

Hi there, hope you've managed to update the app to the latest version (3.14) which should have resolved these issues for you! If not please let us know :)
