Simple cycle scheduling system

Handy little tool to keep track of the little Red Devil that torments us women month in month out. It gives us pre warning of the upcoming ‘event’ so we can take all precautions and stock up on those much needed but less desired fancy pads, paracetamol and moorish foods that we crave. But that’s not all ladies, this discrete little app plots out our most fertile dates for contraception detailing how likely we are to conceive. There is also a chat forum where we can communicate about the dreaded devil, or even what the comfiest pair of skinnies are for that really bloated day.

Before eve, I had no idea where I was in my cycle, and like most- it almost always caught me off guard. I suffer with severe endometriosis which causes chronic pain as it is on my nerves in my pelvis. I have been in and out of hospitals more then I have fancy restaurants. And every time I see a consultant, the first thing they ask is when was your last period! Thanks to Eve, I literally have my entire years worth of dates at my fingertips!

It’s quite simple once you’ve had it for a while but you may need to spend some time getting to know your new best friend first. But it’s worth it!

The best period tracker app!

Most other good period tracker apps require you to purchase a monthly subscription before you even access the app itself... with Eve, you can use so many handy features for free, straight off the bat! You can choose to pay a subscription if you want to add other tools or take part in quizzes and such but, personally, the free features that Eve offers are more than enough.

You can track your period, ovulation, fertility, and even keep a diary each day of your mood, activities and eating habits. You can also upload your data in case you switch phones which, in my opinion, is extremely handy. You also get free access to the Eve community where you can discuss anything and everything you wish. Overall, the app does the job with a bit extra on the side for you. Very happy :)

Great App, but could be more queer inclusive!

Love this app so much, been using it for years, love the symptom logging and the calendar view, and how I can speak to other people about issues with menstruation for example in the community section!

However, I do wish it was more queer inclusive. As a gay woman, I personally don’t want to be getting notifications such as “how to make him have the best s£x ever!” and “the best time to get it on with him!” I understand that’s what a lot of women are in the app for, and I LOVE the community on there, but it seems so focussed on women having banging guys and getting pregnancy results, and for a lot of women, that is not the reality and we feel left out! I know I do!

Eve is primarily a period tracking app, although I mostly use for the community section, however it feels incredibly tailored to just cis women, and excludes those trans people who have periods too! It’s a shame that in the last 4 years I’ve been on the app, i’ve not seen anymore inclusiveness develop! If this could happen I would give it 5 stars!
