Awesome app

Petsapp makes it more convenient to contact my vet and it’s been especially useful during lockdown. I’ve been able to communicate with my practice in real time with the convenience of using just my phone.
I really like that I can pay via Apple pay at the touch of a button and then go to collect food and medicines without going in to the practice.
There’s a bit of work I would like the developers to do behind the scenes, for example, it would be good if the app notified me using sounds and haptics when the vet is trying to contact me, but overall this app is user friendly and very useful.

Really good service

First time using the app today, as I had to get some foster kittens seen by the vet, due to the current situation I was unable to take physical to the vets so I registered them onto the app and paid the consultation fee through the app it’s was quick and easy they booked us to Receive a video, they called and we talked through what was happening and he was able to prescribe me some medication I then paid again through the app for the medication and they will then ring for me to collect from vets

It’s was really easy and effective to use, would definitely use this again in the future

I thought it would do more

I was able to chat to someone in order to book my puppies vaccination rather than phoning the vets, which was good. However, I would like it if my dogs weights and their medication could be updated on there automatically when I take them in to the vets. I can change the weight on their individual pages but there’s no way of entering the date they were that weight, or seeing their history. Same with medicine, it would be great to have a history of what they’ve been given and when - even an option to add all these manually myself would be good, but at the moment it seems to be a ‘chat’ app only.

Can’t see the need..

While others have given 5 stars, I have to give 1 for effort only here. Registering okay, no problem there, uploading pictures, no problem but editing, no chance. Booking appointments? No chance either. not used the chat function yet, but maybe this will change my mind as my cat is having an operation tomorrow. The vet email suggest downloading the app to keep abreast of progress. We’ll see…
I must be doing something wrong here but maybe it’s just the iPhone and iPad models I’m using. Advise or update from manufacturers would be great

Worse than useless

I feel a bit out of sync here as everyone else gives this 5 stars, so I'm not totally sure i'm reviewing the same thing, but I think i'm in the right place, here goes anyway...

I installed this because my vets told me my cat's annual vaccinations were due and I should install this app and use it to book the appointment. So I did.

Firstly i had to register and add all the information about my pet that the vets already know, why is this?

Then I looked for an appointment booking calendar feature, or something like that... but all this app offers is plain text chat, much like SMS or WhatsApp or the other dozen chat apps I have installed already (except worse than most with fewer features, like no file sharing or anything).

So i started a chat and requested an appointment. Three days later I got a reply, and after another coupe of days, with long waits between each message we finally had the jabs booked in for today.

Two hours before the appointment the vets telephoned me to say the appointment I had booked didn't exist, without explaining how they knew that, and so now we are booked in for next week.

Just don't bother installing this, call them instead! Deleting it now...

Stellar Vets

I have been attending Stellar vets for over a year now. The service you get here is second to none. Although it’s a small practice they offer a comprehensive service suiting all animals. The service is personnel which is a little more clinical with larger practices. Prices are very fair which for a lot of pet owners can be a worry. I would recommend Stellar for that personnel service that is lacking in a lot of vets. Pets come first there. Both the two David’s are very knowledgeable vets who put the welfare of the animals in their care above anything else.

Just Brilliant

From day one this app has been just brilliant. I can leave messages using PetsApp and have them answered by the Veterinary Clinic, I can order all my pets medication and have it delivered if necessary and if I need to speak to a vet about any pet concerns, this can also be done via the app. There is a consultation charge to speak with a vet, which you pay over the phone, but it means that I don’t always have to take my fur babies to the clinic in person which I know they greatly appreciate. I can’t rate this app highly enough👍🏻

Very useful

I’ve been using this app since my vet surgery started promoting it as a way to get in touch with them. So far I use it every few months to reorder flea and working tablets for my dog, thankfully I haven’t needed the vet for anything else.

It’s so much quicker and easier to send a text requesting the tablets than it is to ring and sit on hold or go into the practice itself. I can only hope when I need them for something else it stays as simple! Thoroughly recommend this app.

Fantastic App

Of all the apps I have on my phone, this one has been THE most helpful. The vet has been able to monitor my dog’s condition without us leaving home. Today, after my dogs surgery yesterday, I was struggling to admin some post surgery eyedrops. I was able to get some great tips in the chat and, guess what……drops administered first time. I feel really confident about the support, help, information and advice that I get from the team here. Thank you so very much . Xxxx

Review

Really happy I signed up to this vets everyone has been amazing today and first visit. Vet took her time with my dog to gain his trust as he’s a rescue dog and is very anxious and had a bad experience with another vets. Today he had his op and they allowed me to sit with him while they gave him something to calm him. Hannah the nurse was lovely explained everything to me and said I can call at any time or use the app. Everyone Iv spoken too the receptionists, nurses and the vet have been amazing. Thank you guys
