PetsApp 4+

Petsapp makes it more convenient to contact my vet and it’s been especially useful during lockdown. I’ve been able to communicate with my practice in real time with the convenience of using just my phone.
I really like that I can pay via Apple pay at the touch of a button and then go to collect food and medicines without going in to the practice.
There’s a bit of work I would like the developers to do behind the scenes, for example, it would be good if the app notified me using sounds and haptics when the vet is trying to contact me, but overall this app is user friendly and very useful.

The app was ok but had glitches appointments I booked for my hound did not get logged with the vet chats did not reach them for example causing problems and confusion; but once I got a new iphone, same number same iCloud same everything, I was locked out and my password was not accepted. I enquired at my vets but they could do nothing to help. I had to delete it from my phone and reload from my icloud and still it refused to let me in with my password, one I have used to log in successfully before. In the end I signed in via google to discover all my data had been wiped. I’ve had to re enter it all. I used to get reminders for regular medicines to give my hound but I’ve had to contact the vet (AGAIN) to find out if they will work.
I’m all for security but this is ridiculous when it’s your pet you need this app to work properly and let you in using your password. It’s not reducing vet receptionists time if you have to double check everything with them in case it’s not been logged.
It was safer just to call them and use pen, paper and put appointments repeat medication dates etc into an old fashioned physical diary.
I no longer trust the ap to do what it says and why does it want my google details and refuse to let me sign in the normal way with MY password ?
Disappointing

First time using the app today, as I had to get some foster kittens seen by the vet, due to the current situation I was unable to take physical to the vets so I registered them onto the app and paid the consultation fee through the app it’s was quick and easy they booked us to Receive a video, they called and we talked through what was happening and he was able to prescribe me some medication I then paid again through the app for the medication and they will then ring for me to collect from vets

It’s was really easy and effective to use, would definitely use this again in the future
