Fun game
This is a fun game so don’t take it too seriously as a golf trainer coz you will be disappointed. You can swing your stick like a base ball bat as long as it swings straight and the ball will fly. The online games are annoying as you can see people are not playing the standard golf way as the ball flies so far, and there must be a hack somewhere coz when their ball goes too far off the green, the screen stops and all of a sudden their ball is on the green, even heard the ball splashing in the water and ‘hey presto’ for their next shot they’re on the green. Overall a good fun game to play with your mates together over a few beers 🍺

iPhone app great, Apple TV app needs work!
Really impressed with the experience on setting up the iPhone app and connecting my new Phigolf sensor. Worked really well, and I thought the range of games/modes was great.
Improvements that would enhance experience: visual aid on equivalent swing face (I.e. picture to show face versus swing path after each swing). Plus, the ability to connect more than 1 sensor at a time to really improve multiplayer.
I also tried the Apple TV app, but even though it connected to the sensor first time, it then subsequently didn’t reach the “Ready” step in one of the game modes, so I couldn’t actually swing it (the light stopped flashing, but it was still connected with full battery). Hopefully this can be fixed, as an Apple TV app for this would be a great time saver (avoiding need for mirroring).
Overall, very impressed and can’t wait to use further!
The Worst Digital Golf Experience
Please do not waste your money on this equipment. It is the most unrealistic experience of any golf game I have played. The way you have to swing within the game is crazy. For example when in a bunker and faced with a 20 ft shot to the hole I swung as I would on the course and the ball travelled about 50 yards out of bounds. The only way I could get the ball close to the pin from the bunker was to do a putting style swing can you imagine attempting to hit the ball from out of a bunker like this in a real game! In addition to this the yardages are ridiculous for example a full swing on a 9 iron would see the ball go no more than 100 yards. I have played with Phigolf twice and intend to sell it on as I genuinely believe playing with this regularly will have a detrimental effect on your real game. Stay well clear!
