I think you should play Photographs.
I tried to make it a little bit different from most games. It sort of mixes puzzle and narrative in a ( hopefully ) interesting way. You might get stuck on some puzzles, but you should never not know what you need to do to proceed.
So what do you actually do? Well, you search around and solve puzzles, and as you do so you'll be developing a scene in front of you and hearing a story. I want to the story to really stand out, so the game has got really beautiful pixel art and top notch music, combined with gameplay and narrative beats that individually would do a pretty good job of telling that story, but come together to really make something special.
It's a pretty short game too. I would say about three hours. There are loads of games these days and who has time to play them all? I've tried to keep things as condensed as possible rather than add filler, to be as respectful for your time as I can be.
Each story is in a different setting and has completely different gameplay mechanics. It ended up being a LOT of work, but It's kind of necessary: The gameplay itself has a hand in telling the story, so what works for one tale wouldn't work for another.
I don't think there's anything else like it out there, so if nothing else, It should give you a unique experience.

Fantastic - but please add progress synch across devices and family sharing
Great game. Love the style of storytelling (reminds me of a Chris Ware graphic novel).
However, I started playing on my iPhone and, several levels in, went to resume play on my iPad but found I had to start again on the new device. Would be great to be able to swap between devices and have game progress synch. Also, the game isn’t showing up on my wife’s account in family sharing, so although I’ve recommended it to her she can’t play it! Otherwise, great stuff!
Sooo clever and original!
I’m loving this little gem, I’ve only 2 story’s left to go and am already feeling separation anxiety at it ending 😩. The story’s absorb you and are just the right length, interspersed with different game mechanics and puzzles so you never get bored. Very very impressed with this game. I originally got pulled in by the great pixelated graphics and the developers pitch on buying the game and boy am I glad I did. There’s so few games I enjoy these days as my attention span seems to have decreased recently so it takes something special and this is one.
Edit: so I’ve just finished and wow just wow, I want to continue but not start from beginning ( trying to avoid spoilers) so please dear developer is there a way to do all?
Beautiful but tragic
This wonderful little indie game tells the story of five peoples lives through a mixture of exploring their house/work to find a photo opportunity then playing a mini game to progress the story. Each person has a different tragic tale to uncover and a different type of mini game. Each story lasts around half an hour so it should take around 2 and a half hours to finish the game. Overall the stories are really well written and quite moving and the pixel art style is really cute.
