PiPcall 4+

Call quality poor

I’ve had PiPcall for about a month and opted for the monthly plan. I’m glad I didn’t sign up for a year as the call quality is poor. Usually the other end can barely hear me. Going to look for an alternative.

Thanks for trying PiPcall, we are sorry you had this experience but to clarify any misconceptions, one of the great benefits of using PiPcall is that it simply uses your existing carrier network. There are no low quality, battery draining VOIP calls here. We are able to do this with no additional cost to yourself or using your minutes with our Patented callback technology. This does mean, if you are in an area where your network signal is low your PiPcall calls won't be as optimal. Please do get in touch with us directly and we can discuss a fix.

Great alternative to 2 phones

I’ve been a customer for over a year now and I’m really pleased with my choice! I use my work mobile with PiPCall to allow me to keep and use my personal number and it works perfectly for what I need.

Pricing seems fair and works out cheaper than a sim only deal, plus saves the cost of another phone.

The app has improved a lot and is now very useable, with good texting functionality. Call quality is not quite as good as the main phone, but is perfectly acceptable.

Support is great and I’ve never have to wait long for a response.

Highly recommended!

Poor quality app

If you’re thinking about using this app then don’t bother. It’s really unreliable, I had multiple issues with it when using it over the space of 6-12months. The tech support is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, the final issue was the app randomly logged me out and wouldn’t let me back in, 1 week without a work phone and tech supports advice was “try turning it off and back on again”
