Use the Polestar Charge app to find available charging stations near your location or along your route. Use filters to specifically display only fast charging stations.
Polestar Charge makes charging your Polestar easy for you: Start a charging session through the app or with your charging card.
With Polestar Charge you keep track of all your charging costs using a single app. Your charging session is seamlessly billed using a payment method stored in your account. Of course you can easily access or download receipts for your charging sessions.

Does the job but not wowed
Things that would be big improvements:
1. CarPlay integration.
2. Quick view indicator of available charger status for charging locations without having to tap into it.
3. Being able to set preferred providers in. a search/filter, e.g. set Ionity due to Polestar discounted rates or any other subscriptions you have
Another Polestar fail
This new version of the Plugsurfing app has surprisingly got even worse.
I used to use it for IONITY to get the 30p rate but no chance I’d use it for anything else as there is a significant premium on direct rates!
Now the IONITY deal has ended I was going to subscribe to get the disapointing discount for their preferred networks. Tried to join and given a “Woops, something went wrong message”. Phoned Polestar support, told someone would get back, well that didn’t happen.
Then while charging at a Tesla Supercharger, using the Tesla app with my Polestar Charge card in the Tesla wallet, but my credit card set as the default card, the charge STILL went to the Polestar account costing 48% MORE!
Phoned Polestar Support who were pretty unhelpful and told me to contact Tesla. I said “wait, you have a bug in your system and it’s up to me to sort out with Tesla?”
Absolutely pathetic. Another product launched way before it’s ready. Do they not test this stuff before releasing?
After experiencing the absolutely fantastic Tesla network, I think I’ll be going all the way and just get a Tesla also in September when my Polestar 2 First Edition is due for replacement.
Polestar, you’re changing premium prices and offering sub prime products and experiences.

Very, very laggy
Really not worth using this unless you happen to stumble across an Ionity charger.
Secondly, at a busy Ionity charger you want to be able to connect right away right? Not with this app. It’s cost me double the charging rate because I couldn’t hold up a queue of cars waiting to charge. Utterly dreadful app when it doesn’t update quick enough, OK when it works. Roll the dice…
