Description

New update with multiple bug fixes, Bluetooth controller improvements, and more. See the What's New section for details!

Play PSP games on your iOS device, in high definition with extra features!

PPSSPP is the original and only PSP emulator for mobile devices. It can run nearly all PSP games with great performance on iOS.

No games are included with this download. Use your own real PSP games and turn them into .ISO or .CSO files (see the homepage for instructions), or simply play free homemade games, which are available in the built-in "Homebrew Store".

The PPSSPP project is in no way affiliated with Sony. PSP is a trademark of Sony.

What’s New

* Fix for math rounding issue that made bosses in Peace Walker unbeatable, among other glitches
* "Double-swipe" protection against accidental app switching
* Swipe-from-left gesture now disabled in-game, as it reduced touch screen performance
* Fix hang when taking screenshots
* Remote Disc Streaming (in your local network) now works

Very good

I downloaded PPSSPP using ‘usescarlet’ but it had stopped working since my iPhone had got blacklisted so I had to delete the app since it was just a featherweight so I couldn’t play psp game but then I was looking for new emulators on the App Store then happily found PPSSPP. I then downloaded it but sadly lost all my progress in gow ghost of Sparta:(

Almost perfect - feature request

I would’ve given this five stars, except I think the app could be even better if we could open an .iso file from the inbuilt iOS “Files” app.

Currently if you tap on a PSP .iso file in the Files app, it tries to launch PPSSPP but then crashes. Or if PPSSPP is already running and you tap an .iso it just opens the app but doesn’t start the game. It just stays on the launch screen.

If we have this, we could even create individual shortcuts on the iOS homescreen for each game .iso we have installed, so they can be launched via the shortcut on the iOS without even having to launch them via the PPSSPP app.

4.99 stars if I may

Everything’s pretty much perfect. This app makes me question all the other ios game developers efforts for putting out below-par games. It’s 2024 and most of the games cannot live up to those on PSP 10 something years ago, and we now know the device is more than capable of delivering what we always wanted.
If only the multi-buttons can be used smoother, this app would be perfect! Thank you for bringing PSP back.
