Love Proscenic devices but my X1 is a deva!
Having purchased several Proscenic vacuum robots and being thoroughly impressed, I was really excited about the X1. Unfortunately I have been left disappointed. It often refuses to empty the bag (which was the main selling point) and gets stuck in places it shouldn’t have gone to in the first place. I’ve tried contacting Proscenic for help but with little success. I’ll keep trying.
Works if you give location permission
My 808C has been run out of water for a while so today I gave it a clean and filled it up with fresh water opened the app and saw the message to change Apps. So I grabbed the new one from the App Store and installed it and have not had any of the issues others mentioned it connects to my humidifier and I can turn it on and off and change the humidity settings, the ionisation and heating buttons only seems to work when it’s set to auto and the start timer seems to have gone You can set a timer to shut the thing down after x hours, although you cannot get it to turn on by itself. Hopefully this feature will return as I like to have it come on at 9am and turn off at 21:00. If you are having trouble connecting you need to give location access as this is needed to grab your local WiFi SSID, note you can always turn location off after install by going to settings - privacy - location services - Proscenic, and set to never. I can confirm the device will still work fine.
This app needs fixing!
I own a vacuum cleaner robot m7 pro. Although it’s being advertise that you can save more than 1 map of your home it’s not true. Whenever you move the robot to a different floor it will reset the 1st map and delete all the no go zones! To add “no go zones” is also a bit pain in the ***. Basically you have to start all over again to build your map, select the rooms and name them for Alexa. More than 1 hour job. You might not want to move the robot physically ever again. (Pls make sure the rooms for cleaning are COMPLETELY free of any stuff on the floor - no clothes, toys, cables, shoes, nothing coming out of your wardrobes…the hoover will get stuck very easily and when you move it, the app will restart the map again).
Scheduling isn’t working at all. For the example I want robot to start hoovering daily at 9am. Well, it start cleaning random days maybe only 3 days out of 7. And guess what? It will start at 2am. Not 9am as you want, at 2am! I can’t figure out this app.
However, the robot is great! Just the app is not ready for customers.
