Pulse - generally okay but a few snags.

I like Pulse only mobile - I can see who’s booked and put them into date of booking or date of arrival. I can see numbers, calendar, message and that’s all great. However, and it might just be me and maybe I need to adjust the settings, but I get the same notifications every time I log in - do I want to send auto messages, and yes I would like to, but I have to log in again and now it doesn’t recognise my password, so repeat and repeat, then I have to get a phone PIN number which is my landline, so I can’t do this when mobile, and I can’t do it by sim message as that uses my home number. Apart from that the other 6 notifications ask if I want to give a 20-30% discount off my bookings for the end of the year and new year, but as my business relates to Alton Towers tourism I’m at my lowest rates now anyway, so I answer ‘no, this will negatively affect my business’ but next tine I log in I get asked the same again - it’s like not being listened to.

Good Customer service but NOT good app

There are may features I find very tiresome and not very obvious or use friendly.
For one ,,the app seem to have conflicting messages , maybe because it gave to cater for home owners to small b&b hotels .
When describing what the photos show on your listing, it would be better if you can type yourself , the multiple choice dies not give correct or detailed description of what the photo shows .
Reorganising photos seem
Impossible . Deleting hard , and can you even change the name of your listing .?
I could go on .. on the plus side , you get feed back from customer service immediately and there is a number to call .. with actually people to speak to ..

Some good and some not..

Overall easy enough to navigate the app and you can do most things that you can do from the web version. One particular thing that’s handy you can call a guest directly from the app. Also like that fact you can also access the finances options, manage your calendar easily and add/ update the property photos and information easily.
What I’m not so keen on is having to verify my identity constantly, why not just use facial recognition to open the app to keep it simple. The other thing that I’ve noticed lately is guest messages don’t always provide a notification, or if they do then it’s sometimes hours later. One instance lately it was 16 hours later!
The other annoying thing is since the last update you have to accept the privacy policy every single time you open a message. What’s the need for that?? Just wastes time, surely by using the app you are inferring you agree!
