Pulse for Booking.com partners 4+

I like Pulse only mobile - I can see who’s booked and put them into date of booking or date of arrival. I can see numbers, calendar, message and that’s all great. However, and it might just be me and maybe I need to adjust the settings, but I get the same notifications every time I log in - do I want to send auto messages, and yes I would like to, but I have to log in again and now it doesn’t recognise my password, so repeat and repeat, then I have to get a phone PIN number which is my landline, so I can’t do this when mobile, and I can’t do it by sim message as that uses my home number. Apart from that the other 6 notifications ask if I want to give a 20-30% discount off my bookings for the end of the year and new year, but as my business relates to Alton Towers tourism I’m at my lowest rates now anyway, so I answer ‘no, this will negatively affect my business’ but next tine I log in I get asked the same again - it’s like not being listened to.

A robust 4 stars. It is saving me time for sure. One weakness is on the bookings tab. It only shows future arrivals. This means I cannot see when current guests are leaving, which means I cannot use it to manage turnarounds properly. An easy thing to add, I am sure. Just have any current occupants at the top of the list in a different shade... maybe collapsed by default if I am only in the minority.

From a hosts point of view this app is excellent in terms of the functions. It does everything you need to manage your business on your smart phone. It has been well developed and is very user friendly.

On the negative side it seems to stop working quite often I have had to delete it and reinstall many times
It gets stuck and the data in particular the calendar fails to load

It also constantly logs you out so unlike the Air B&B app which does the same thing as pulse albeit through another booking channel.

Booking dot com are very difficult to talk to I have raised issues with the app. They seem to be a totally all on line organisation from a hosts point of view so feedback just disappears into a black hole

Overall booking dot com are the most powerful Chanel for bookings for your business without doubt
This app is an essential part of this and is so easy to use. It's just a shame in development that it has not been created to be be more robust.
