Radio Interview is a professional tool for radio newsrooms and their reporters. Record, review, and securely hand over to the newsroom: the app guides journalists and their interview partners through the entire recording process in four clear steps – from the first sound to the final delivery to the newsroom.
Please note: This is a professional application for radio journalism – not a personal voice recorder. Recordings are intended to be handed over to a radio newsroom. If you only want to capture a voice note or a private conversation for yourself, please use your device's built-in voice memo function instead. The app is designed for journalists and their interview partners.
Built for radio journalists, with no cluttered interface and no unnecessary settings. The app focuses on what matters: recording a clean interview and transferring it securely. Already in use by newsrooms such as radio ffn, Antenne Niedersachsen, Radio 21, and Evangelischer Kirchenfunk Niedersachsen.
How it works:
Prepare – Select recipient, enter interview partner and topic. Brief tips ensure optimal recording quality from the start.
Record – Start recording with a tap. Keep an eye on real-time levels and duration at all times. Pause, resume, or restart – anytime.
Review – Listen to the recording before sending and check metadata. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
Send – Deliver securely to the newsroom with one tap. The interview is immediately available for download.
Media Library: All locally stored and already sent recordings in one place. Replay recordings, edit metadata, or delete files – clearly organized and fast.
Your data. Secure. Recordings are stored locally on the device and only transmitted when you actively send them. The workflow is designed to be GDPR-compliant – no data is uploaded to the cloud without your consent.

For whom is the app intended? For editorial teams, reporters, and freelancers who collaborate with the Evangelical Church Radio of Lower Saxony (Evangelischer Kirchenfunk Niedersachsen, ekn) and deliver content to us. When you send a recording, it is transmitted to ekn – without an existing collaboration, the app is not intended for you, and it should not be used for private or general audio recordings.
