Great app but unable to delete from ‘My Saved Routes’

This is a really useful app. I particularly like that you can walk routes throughout the UK and also plan ahead and Use the my saved outed feature. However, lately I have found that I have been unable delete previously saved routes from the app. Can this please be fixed in the next version?
After a very quick reply by the developer, thank you for that, I worked out after going to the ‘Saved Routes’ area of the app, I needed to hit the ‘i’ button, and then hit ‘remove’ after which it appears to do nothing until you hit ‘refresh’, after which a trash can icon appears that you hit to finally remove the previously saved route.

Hi Mukness, many thanks for your 4 star review. You should be able to delete saved routes in the app. If you select walking on the bottom navigation bar then there should be a saved routes button in the top right hand corner. From there you should be able to delete saved routes.

Good routes, why deadly slow launch? why no feedback or notes?

I have used this app only once and had a fantastic walk in Essex with it. (Update: three times, and three good walks.) However, it is very strange that almost every time you open it, you have to wait most of a minute while it does things like “updating group walks”. If I am just following a route I don’t need that, but it does not seem possible to turn it off. If you are on an unfamiliar route so that you have to check the directions frequently, this app is frustrating to use.
Update: this problem is much worse when you have only one bar of signal .. which happens often when you are the countryside (eg rambling). My solution is that before starting the walk, I take a screenshot of each page of the instructions (usually 4-9 pages). Then I only need to look in my photos, and not wait for this app’s slow launch.
Also, there seems to be no way to submit errors (on the walk I did today, the hyperlink for the starting point sent me to a different location in google maps, 4.3 miles from the correct place). Fortunately I knew this was wrong.
Also, too bad there is no way to record one’s own notes for a walk so that if you look at it some time later you can review your impressions etc from the first time.

Easy to find my next group walk

I walk regularly with ramblers groups and the app is really helpful in showing me the next walk (with start location) with my local group, and I can easily find walks with other groups when I want to venture future afield, or on a different day.
I’ve walked with groups all over the country thanks to the app. Plus, I can find set-guided walk routes when I’m walking with my partner, especially on holiday in the U.K. or when visiting friends.
Bonus is having the discount codes on the app when I’m in a store or online and don’t have my membership card to hand. In fact, I very rarely have to carry my membership card these days-I always have my phone with me!
Recent bug fixes have massively improved the stability and functionality.
