Rave - Watch Party 17+

Best app but one issue

So me and my friend have been using this app all through lockdown so that we could watch shows together, and it’s so good and always works perfectly well and we’ve never had any issues.

Recently we’ve been having problems because the video would keep playing noise but the screen would be frozen, but it would still work completely fine for the other person. There was a problem with the Netflix part of Rave going down recently, and according to Twitter, it should be fixed, but me and my friend tried to use it again today and Netflix still isn’t working on Rave.

Really troublesome

Just a day after I got the app every time I would join my friends and try to talk to them I would not be able to hear anything. At first I thought my phone was glitching but turns out i could only be in a room for a maximum of 5 minutes before I would not be able to hear anything and my friends would not be able to hear me even though my microphone was enabled. There should also be a way to disable the fact that it always says “Your friends will miss you” every time you leave the room. I think that is very troublesome when I am trying to leave and rejoin and it just makes my phone lag even more. I also think you should be able to make your account private because I only want to be invited by friends and only see my friends room. I do not want to be invited to rooms by strangers this is a very impractical feature. Even redownloading the app the issue that doesn’t let me hear my friends still persists.

Regarding the voice chat, we are working through some issues right now and our developers are investigating a fix for what you have described here. Regarding the pop-up that says "Your friends will miss you" whenever you leave a rave, the reason we added this is so that our users don't leave and join raves too quickly (we call this rave hopping), as this would put a lot of stress on our servers. Lastly, we are working to add the feature where you'll be able to make your account private and block users from inviting you to raves. However, if someone is harassing or bullying you, please direct message us and let us know the username of the individual, and we can have them blocked if you'd like. The app is very good

I love this app anytime i want to watch something with my friends we can all get together and watch it's perfect especially for times like these where we cannot be with each other. there was just one problem, i went on wwweb and typed a movie streaming site the movie wouldn't play. i'm kinda confused and i would appreciate some help with that (old review but some movies i want to watch with my friends aren't on netflix etc and i still want to watch with them)
