Not very useful

There is no explanation of the symbols. The first two are fairly obvious but not all the others. There is no means to contact you in the App to ask, otherwise I would have raised these issues with you before writing this review.
So I focussed in on my local town. It showed a few places where I could refill a water bottle, but as soon as I pressed the fountain image they all disappeared despite that icon being lit up still. Then I pressed the coffee cup icon which I presume means somewhere I can use a re usable cup but the Costa which I know is there failed to show.
So if it doesn’t work in my local town where I know where shops are, what will be it’s use somewhere I don’t know?

Fab idea keeps crashing

Whilst this is one of the best app ideas I’ve seen in a long time to help combat the horrible single use society we live in it does not work on iOS. Open it up, loads for about 10 seconds then unlike single use plastic vanishes into the ether. Tried rebooting handset and reinstalling the app but to no avail.

Please please please fix what could be the most useful app in the fight against single use plastic. #jointheresistance

Developer Response ,

Hi.

Thanks for your comments earlier this year, we've been working really hard to get as many fixes released as we can, we've also introduced some new features to further reduce plastic pollution. We'd love for you to give it another go. And if you still encounter issues, please get in touch on app@refill.org.uk.

Many thanks
Lanie

Problems in old reviews seem ok now 👍🏼

Great practical tool to help us to find places where we can fill water bottles and other refillables eg Ecover products to minimise plastic use. As I say in the title it seems that the problems described in older reviews have been fixed now so the review score is lower as I write this than I think is appropriate given the app is now apparently functioning well. I encourage you to download it and give it a try. I’m glad that I did. Thank you & best wishes 😌🙏🏼
