Ratings and Reviews
What’s with the recent invasive ad for unlocking?
Literally as you press return on the first command after connecting to a session it pops up.
Then you find when you dismiss the invasive window it didn’t actually send the command only intercept the key press.
Tip: If you’d move where the cursor controls appear so they don’t pop up right over where the bloody command would be that might encourage me to buy.
Other than this it’s a relatively nice app.
No longer developed?
This was a pretty decent way to just dive in quickly to my homelab, I even thought seriously about paying for the extra features. Unfortunately now it doesn't seem to support modern SSH cyphers etc, so all I get is "encryption key failure" messages when trying to access mynservers, and the version history seems to suggest that a fix will be a long time coming, if at all. So I'm looking for a replacement (Shelly seems to work for me). Disappointing.
Not being kept up to date
I’ve used this app for years. Sadly Micro Focus / Opentext haven’t updated it since 2020. It’s now impossible to connect to some servers without reenabling encryption ciphers OpenSSH deemed unsafe and removed from the default config.
