In 2013, I created this app to control my Mac Mini connected to a big-screen TV in my living room. In 2016 I quit my job and became an indie developer, and now my sole focus is on building my apps. The app has been downloaded more than 2,000,000 times over the years and has favorable reviews.

SECURITY
The app uses standard security measures like HTTPS to communicate and only works on your local network. Whenever an unknown device tries to establish a connection with your computer, the app presents a dialog for you to choose to allow or deny it.

UNLOCK PREMIUM FEATURES
Remote offers two subscription options: yearly with a free trial and monthly, and a lifetime one-time payment option. Prices may vary by location.
If you upgrade to a Premium subscription, Apple will charge your account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple will charge your account for renewal 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel automatic renewal and manage your subscription by selecting Manage App Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings and selecting the subscription you want to modify. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a Premium subscription, where applicable.

If you need a Mac remote then look no further
I wanted a remote control app for an old Ipad. After a quick google search I clicked the link to this app which unfortunately didn’t support my old iPad so I download the latest version to my phone and the older version became available for download to my iPad, it’s an old trick. The free version with limited features worked just fine on my iPad so I bought the full version on my phone thinking the purchase would push to the iPad, it didn’t. I got in touch with the developer who was very quick to respond and very helpful. The developer refunded me the money after first trying to resolve the problem. From there I tried to re-purchase the app this time on the old iPad and see if it would push to my phone. Sadly I couldn’t purchase the app from my iPad but I was very impressed that the app developer didn’t quibble about a refund and actually helped as much as possible in supporting a now outdated version of the app and IOS.
Needless to say I’ve repurchased the app on my phone as it really is very good.
Genuinely perfect.
So at night, I’d normally turn on my old Xbox One and have Netflix playing, and control it via my Xbox controller - Xbox died. Yeah.
So I looked around for phone-to-PC controlling software… none popped up. Sure, one or two were available, but every third tap or control would promo a “pay now for no ads”. And half the time, it was horrible to connect… then I found Remote+. And it’s honestly flawless. Connects within the second you tap your Desktop name, has all the essential controls, doesn’t continuously ask to pay for a premium, in fact NEVER does. Never seen a single ad, and I’ve been using this for a few months now, and has only just asked for a review. And I’m happy to say, it can’t be beaten. Just try it, and see for yourself.

Loving this remote app so far
I checked out a few options when looking for a remote, I got a new projector and wanted to be able to control my Mac from the sofa and not have to get up to change volume and choose shows on Netflix etc, this 100% does the job. It’s also cool when you can see the screen of the Mac via the app. I like that’s it’s got multiple modes of use and the Dec has made the UI look sleek and modern with options to add/remove functions depending on what you are using it for. As time goes on I’ll probably find new ways of using it but for now it’s def worth the £7.99 I paid for it. I had to buy a new remote control for my old Samsung TV a while ago cause my dog chewed it and it cost me £20 so this is def a bargain. 5 stars all day.
