Safe Places are premises that are registered with their local Safe Place scheme operators and agree to provide a safe haven if you need help or support.
The Safe Places app shows all Safe Places that have ben registered with the Safe Places National Network.
You can view all the details each Safe Places and if required, be automatically directed to the nearest registered Safe Place, step by step.
This app’s overall rating was recently reset.
The 'Next Generation' of the Safe Places Apps contains more details about each Safe Place including a picture (where added by the local scheme operators) so you can see what the Safe Place looks like.
You can now also see the address, phone number and opening times by touching the red pin.
You can also see if the Safe Place offers additional facilities like a Changing Places toilet, is a Defibrillator location or offers free phone charging or even if their staff have received training in schemes like Ask for Angela or are Dementia Friendly.
