Sailboat Championship 4+

Loved this app, as a new sailor it really helps to learn how to sail a dinghy in relation to the wind and sail position. Even if your not a sailor it's still great fun. It's challenging in a good way, it keeps you wanting to have just one more go to beat your best time, the graphics are really, really nice and it has some great features like the ghost of your fastest lap to race against and showing your best times against other players. Buy this you will have some fun !

This is a good game, but it is VERY hard to progress beyond the first few levels - you can do some of it with experience points rather than getting a better time for each level, but it gets really boring after a while because each race is very short and not that interesting to play 100 times over just to get to the next level! Fine if you've got the time, but boring if you just want to try out other things and don't want the hassle of having to unlock levels. At least give the option to practice different things rather than forcing everyone to go through each level to get to the next.

Not everyone wants a hard core difficult racing game, some of us just want to mess about in boats - like in real life! Allow those of us to just practice different levels without having to go through a championship and I'd give it 5 stars, but now I'm stuck with a game I bought that I can't access half of because I don't want to spend days just getting to the next level.

The best iPad game that has so far been released. As the other reviews say, it's more a racing game than a sailing simulation, but it still retains the core elements of sailcraft. Difficult, yes, but perfectly judged to ensure you get many hours of gameplay. Once you've learned to control the angle of the sail yourself this game comes alive.
