What’s New
Version 8.16.0
With version 8.16.0, Site Owners and Site Admins can now receive push notifications for incidents in their SALTO KS Mobile App if they have them configured in the SALTO KS Web App. In addition, this update improves our observability efforts to improve the app and offer a better user experience and support.
Ratings and Reviews
Terrible App
Really poor quality app. The QR scanner doesn’t work, even though most other companies have mastered this. And the app itself is slow and buggy.
Someone should launch a competitor app as it’s a great and easy to build concept - but the developers at Salto don’t know what they are doing.

Why no Apple Watch app?
The phone app is fine. Does the job with minimal fuss and hassle but why can’t the Apple Watch be used to open the locks? I’ve just locked myself out of the office by leaving my phone on the desk. My watch is always on my wrist; I don’t leave it behind when I leave the room. I can’t be the first person who has thought of this. Come on, do the obvious and integrate the watch.
Good System
We have been using Salto KS for around 10 months now and whilst it has a few drawbacks (as does every system) our experience has been very good. The app could be improved a bit as I often find it is slow to load but once you are in it is quick to respond.
