Nice app, and fantastic idea! I read about it in the York Press, then heard the headteacher from the school talking on BBC Radio York so thought I’d give it a try. Glad I did - I feel much better ordering takeaways knowing that it’s helping local schools, and that the deliveries are sustainable and the riders properly paid. It’s the first time I’d had Sri Lankan food, and it was delicious! The fact I could get quesadillas from the Mexican restaurant for the kids on the same order was a bonus too. With any luck, it’ll mean an end to the fun family “discussions” over which takeaway to get, which I always seem to lose!They did forget to put in one of the free chutneys, which was a bit annoying, but they were very apologetic when I phoned and sent someone out with it straight away. It was still their first week, I think, so probably still getting things sorted out. We’ve ordered a couple of times since, and everything’s been perfect (including an amazing lamb dish from the Spanish restaurant called something like cordero that I’ll definitely be ordering again!).Great job - thanks!
