Description
SCOPAY lets parents' book and pay for their children’s school trips and clubs, meals, purchase stationery, uniforms and more.
This app is regularly updated as new features are added.
Manage payments:
- Pay for school meals, wraparound care, clubs, trips, events, stationery and uniform
- Use a variety of payment methods, including credit or debit cards and Google Pay
- Save credit card details to speed up payments
- View balances and payment history, including payments made in school
- Set up automated monthly payments
Manage bookings:
- Pre-order meals (primary schools) or top-up canteen balance (secondary)
- Book sessions at breakfast or after-school clubs
- Sign up for optional trips
- Use easy online forms to give consent and other information
Manage your account:
- Manage multiple children from one account – even if they attend different schools
- Children can be linked to multiple parent or guardian accounts
- Reset your details, including email address, password and billing information
Please note: some app functions are dependent on the choices of individual schools. Not all schools will use all the facilities described above.

Why have we updated the SCOPAY app?
1. Better technology available – this means we can develop our app faster to ensure optimum security and faster roll-outs of any new features.
2. Consistency - both the web and app versions of SCOPAY will soon be identical. This will offer you a consistent experience, whichever SCOPAY platform you use.

1. Faster checkout - the new app offers an improved, faster checkout experience, with less steps to complete your payments.
2. Automated payments – with the new Monthly Billing functionality, you can set up automated payments, to easily pay off outstanding debts or top-up on balances on your preferred date each month.
3. Fresh new look - we have focused on making it super easy to navigate around the app.
Ratings and Reviews
Apple Pay - why would you remove it?
Upgrade, yet remove Apple Pay? Just doesn’t make sense as that was the best upgrade you done in the previous version, now it’s not supported in this version. Was your decision backed up by data? I can’t believe that your users were not using the feature that made the payment easy, as the form filelds were always so intermittent. I hope you reconsider your decision and make some users(already busy parents) happy.
Unusable
Was previously… reasonable. It was clunky but at least it worked. Since the latest update Apple Pay has been removed, it won’t let you save a new card, it just doesn’t work. I’ve logged out, deleted the app, reinstalled, all the usual “fixes”, nothing. Fortunately my wife’s app hasn’t updated, yet, so we can still put money on the card for my son to buy lunch. Hopefully her app doesn’t update itself or we’ll have a hungry teenager on our hands.
Sorry to say but gone from bad to worse.
UI looks and feels more complicated especially for people with dyslexia
Payments have taken a step back by removing ApplePay (which sort of worked in the previous version). Saved cards aren’t saving.
General workflow completely changed which makes the app very confusing if you were “used” to the old one. Targeted/iterative changes would have been a better way to go.
