Scrap Paper 4+

Great little app that is so handy to quickly jot down ideas and notes, especially useful when switching between apps and doing work in several places. Lives in the menubar so stays out of the way till you need it and it's available on a custom keyboard shortcut. Developer is super helpful and added a feature request when asked. Would highly recommend.

This is an excellent app that does pretty much exactly as advertised. One problem, particularly with the iOS and iPadOS versions of this app, is that it is essentially impossible to install your own fonts. Scrap Paper requires that a font be in the “My Fonts” section of the iOS Settings – but it is virtually impossible to install a font in “My Fonts”. Other apps, meanwhile, allow for the immediate use of fonts for which configuration profiles have been installed (a much easier task to perform). The inability to add your own fonts in the iOS and iPadOS versions detracts from the customizability of the app. The lack of font congruency has been a particular point of irritation for me, and I believe that allowing fonts that have configuration profiles installed (like other apps, like Goodnotes, do), rather than allowing fonts that are in the “My Fonts” section of the Settings, is a very simple change that much more easily enables me to personalize the app.

This app is generally very reliable, and I am certainly thinking about recommending it to friends and family; making it easier to add one’s own fonts would be the final thing that pushes my rating from four stars to five, though.

Nice minimal design, instant load/recall, all the options you need but neatly hidden away in the preferences. Really is a perfect app.

Outside the parameters maybe but I would love to see an option to drag and drop images / audio files so they are safe there..even if the souce is deleted..to drag back out later. So they would be stored safe untill deleted from the scrap paper.
