Keeping up

As we live two hours away from our granddaughter and only see her every three weeks; it is so lovely to see some of the activities she does at school. It enables us to have a conversation round the pictures and give her the opportunity to tell us what she was doing. We enjoy being involved in her learning experiences.

Layout confusing, privacy concerns, puts me off engaging

From a user experience point of view it can be very difficult to distinguish between home, messages, and notifications layout. Particularly troublesome when attempting to messages teacher privately. Many parents in our class have made the mistake of posting messages on the whole class notification board thinking they were sending a private message to the teacher. It’s embarrassing. It’s also unclear as to whether photos of my child and their work posted by the teacher are visible to everyone in class or just me and the teacher, so I tend not to engage with the posts. The school used Class Dojo previously which I found much more intuitive to engage with. Disappointed with parent experience using Seesaw by comparison.

Disappointed with recent update.

I am very disappointed with the most recent update. As both a parent and a teacher using it I do not feel that it holds the same user friendly approach that it did. The change to the message system is not as smooth, I am getting constant non loading pages and apps, both on chrome and in the apps, I have been a user for the last 8 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed By an update. I feel there are many issues that need to be fixed at present
