Segway-Ninebot 4+

A total joke of an app. The Bluetooth connection is unstable and it left me unable to unlock my scooter after locking it to go in a shop. I am now carrying the scooter home four miles (yes carrying it as the front wheel is electronically locked). All I have is a pop-up message in Chinese (really helpful in an English language app.) I’ve tried everything to get it to connect but it won’t. All my other Bluetooth devices work fine so why not this? A complete disgrace by the developers.

This app is generally pretty good. Dashboard view and battery state of charge / power output on my Ninebot One S2 works well. I find the mode settings don’t always apply on the device when changing from Sport to New Rider mode etc, need to try a few times and wait for a confirmation beep from the unit. The main issue is I want to see the speed / distance on the dashboard in mph but even when I change settings to “imperial” in the app the values are still reported as kph, but with the units stated as mph which can be confusing! Ninebot/Segway please can you look at this!

Apps is ok, but when recording and suddenly you loose Bluetooth connection it looses the activity you have just recorded. Pain as it shows the distance of the travel but there is no record of the travel location, or map of the ride you just rode 😔. Several of my trips have not been recorded and as far as I can see no way to recover any data from it. Please can we improve this feature - I believe it would be a better app if this bug could be solved. However, it is a good feeling when it does manage to capture the data. Look forward to an improvement.
