With a simple UI design, lightning fast launch speeds, and high security and stability levels, users can unlock doors in less than 0.5 seconds using NFC tap-to-unlock technology, QR code scan, or using our iOS Widget.
Access the Sentry Interactive app instantly via background NFC by simply tapping the NFC Smart Access Tile next to the door you wish to unlock. This will take you directly to the app, where you can unlock the door.
Mobile credentials stored in the Sentry Interactive app are encrypted at rest and adhere to NIST cybersecurity best practices.

The app should do one thing right - open a door - but it manages to complicate that with regular login failures, and an onboarding screen that appears every time you log in. Support suggested it’s a Wi-Fi / 4G issue but I have Wi-Fi disabled and I still get stuck in front of the door once every three times. Very frustrating to use and the rest of the office agrees

Just doesn’t work, at least not quick enough to prevent rage setting in. And that’s before you’ve even got into the office!

In the latest version of Doordeck, we’re bringing you:
- A brand new registration flow. It’s now quicker and easier for new users to sign up and set a password - and, if you’ve got it enabled, passwords will be securely stored in your iCloud Keychain so you don’t have to worry about remembering it or typing it in again.
- Speed and performance bug fixes.
Don’t forget, if you’ve got an iPhone 7 or up, you can use NFC to make unlocking a doddle. And, on the new iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max, you don’t even have to open the app before scanning a Tile - give it a go!

In this release, we’ve added more security features to make getting around even more safe and reliable. Here’s what’s new:
- At the discretion of your building manager, keys can now be geo-fenced to work when you’re near the right lock. We only ask for GPS permission when it’s necessary, and don’t worry - your data is never stored or sent to us, and it’ll never run in the background.
Don’t forget to add the ‘Doordeck Button’ widget to your Today View so you can access Doordeck even quicker.

We’ve made improvements to the Doordeck app so it’s even easier to get around. Here’s what’s new:
- Onboarding screens for new users - we’ll take you through everything you need to be a Doordeck power user
- In-app support - simply tap the Profile icon and hit Support to access our Frequently Asked Questions and reach the team.

With iOS11 we’re thrilled to bring you native NFC and QR code support! It means you’ll now be able to unlock doors with just a tap against our Tiles (iPhone 7 and up), or scan a QR code to open up in seconds.
Add the new Doordeck Button widget to Today View for quick one-touch access.
Elsewhere, we’ve made other improvements under the hood to make the app even more reliable and speedy. Thanks for being with Doordeck.
