Ratings and ReviewsSee All
i started my GCSE’s last year and this year i decided to actually focus as its my last year to do so and for english we’re studying plays for our literature exam and Shakespeare too and i’d recommend this app for students and Shakespeare lovers (not really a fan of english but if learning helps me pass then might as well ) but its a good way of catching some knowledge.
A must for students and lovers of the Immortal Bard
This is a veritable gold mine of Shakespeare's work. All the plays and sonnets are here - the latter are even read aloud. There are summaries and help with naturally difficult terminology of words which are archaic. What more could you ask for?
Unusable after recent updates
Used to be great but now useless. Can't contact app support without registration hassle first. LOOK ELSEWHERE!
I wanted to give app support a chance to comment before negative review but can't face registration with yet another website... I've pasted what I wanted to send below.
Dear Shakespeare app
Was unable to open app after last update but one. After re-instal could open app but not get into any plays/works - the app just crashed.
After latest update (02 May 2018) I could go into works but just got blank screen, Re-installed again (2nd time in a couple of weeks) and still the same: I can see list of scenes, etc, but get blank screen when I try to access. Have used the app for many years but frustrated now... I use an iPhone 5S. Any Q's or more info needed just let me know.
Best wishes, Neil
