Great app

As an app, it’s honestly brilliant. It’s so easy to use, allocate tasks and get paid quickly and easily.
As a mystery shopping company…a bit hit or miss. I’d say compared to other mystery shopping companies they have more tasks but for less pay. The tasks are allocated instantly, reviewed quickly once complete and the money is paid within an hour of withdrawing. But £3 for some tasks is a bit ridiculous. Recently done a load of kinder recall ones that were nearby and earned £45 in a day. So it can be done, as I said just a bit hit and miss sometimes!
One major positive is I’ve never had a task rejected and the support team are great.

Not worth the effort (so far)

I’ve tried to complete two tasks. The first one I took very seriously and was committed to giving detailed information. It was a 30 min task and I prepped for about 15 mins, was there for about 40 mins making sure I completed everything and then spent about 10 minutes completing all the questions. Unfortunately I took the verification photo at the end of the task (because I couldn’t see the front of the store before I actually got up to it) and my review was rejected because “I’d only spent 10 minutes in there”, despite having been there for 40 mins and written what I thought were good notes. I was also told that I didn’t give names of staff or information about specific products, despite this not being explained in the intro note or the questions themselves.

On my second job I again made sure I prepped thoroughly and, on a 15 minute task, spent more than 30 mins in the shop finding out about products. When I left and was completing my review the app crashed and so the job was marked as ‘abandoned’ I contacted support but as there’s no one online in the evenings they couldn’t restore it and by the next day it had expired. So again, lots of wasted effort.

So far I’ve spent about 3 hours on these two tasks, if you include travel time, and for absolutely no return. I will try again but I think there should be some more leeway for people when they’re just starting - and especially when the app itself is to blame.

Don’t bother

Went to the Trafford Centre to do my first 2 jobs last night. One went through but was very slow despite me having full 4G at all times. Was told I could move on to the next job but that first job now states attempted, not completed, so doubt I will be getting paid. The next job went even worse. Sent to inspect a brand of cosmetics in next. There was none of that brand cosmetics in the next store. Searched both floors. I then had to photo and video something that’s not there. I was constantly speaking with chat function who take a long time to reply and told me I would have to resubmit as they haven’t received my report, which I did. After this they stopped replying. I left the Trafford centre after 1.5 hrs. I have looked back on it this morning and that second job now says retry so looks like wasted 1.5 hrs for nothing. I would have only actually got £11 in total anyway. Not worth it because the jobs take longer than they are supposed to due to the slowness off the app and the slowness of the chat people responding or not responding at all. I wouldn’t do more jobs until the app improves.
