Very convenient.

Looking up words or kanji is very convenient, and in the case of kanji you can see stroke orders as well. There’re example sentences, conjugations, and links to see what kanji are in the word. Also there’re two kana charts you can quick on quickly however I haven’t needed to use them.
I haven’t tried any other Japanese dictionary apps but I haven’t needed to.

Oh also there’s a thing where you can star a word or kanji and add it to flashcards, which can be done with SRS (if you don’t know what that is and you’re learning a language I suggest you look into it). I have another app for flashcards which I use instead so I haven’t really tried that part of the app but it seems nice.

Best Dictionary to assist in your Japanese learning journey

I really love this app and it’s been so helpful whenever I’ve needed to look up certain words. And sometimes if you may not know the On’yomi or Kun’yomi reading of a Kanji character, you can even draw it to search it up. It also has features where you can create flash cards and bookmark or save words to add to your vocab list in your folders. And lists all the conjugations a word has and example sentences to give a fuller in depth surmise of whatever word your looking for. It’s just as great as the online Jisho and a great equivalent for the iPhone! I highly recommend.

Fantastic app, essential resource

Easy to use, no hidden purchases or annoying ads. It's been a huge help on my language learning journey.

The most recent update introduced a feature where whatever text I have on my clipboard is automatically entered into the search box upon opening the app. While I initially found this incredibly annoying (because I often have whole paragraphs on my clipboard and it slows down my search process) this feature has grown on me and I have come to appreciate it.

I rate it very highly!
