Access Permissions:
All permissions are optional and require consent (you can continue using Skype without granting these permissions, but certain features may not be available).
• Contacts - Skype can sync and upload your device contacts to Microsoft's servers so that you can easily find and connect with your contacts that already use Skype.
• Microphone - The microphone is needed for people to hear you during audio or video calls or for you to record audio messages.
• Camera - The camera is needed for people to see you during video calls, or for you to be able to take photos or videos whilst you’re using Skype.
• Location - You can share your location with other users or use your location to help find relevant places near you.
• Photo Library - Storage is needed to be able to store photos or to share your photos with others you may chat with.
• Notifications - Notifications allow users to know when messages or calls are received even when Skype is not actively being used.
• Siri - This allows Siri to make calls in Skype.

Skype credit problem
I loaded my Skype with £10 credit to make important texts to my family. But nothing was loaded into my account. Trying to phone Skype is impossible. So not user friendly there for a start. Texting a customer advisor was the other option. But a customer advisor can only help you to the extent what tools the employer provides them to help. I this case it was none what so ever. I was told they was unable to provide me with emergency credit and when I asked if I would be compensated for this 24 hr ongoing issue so far, I had no answer for that again. It is sad when such a big company can not help out its customers in a way that they should be helped and answered for monies they have paid and prompt service they should be give. I appreciate there are technical difficulties. But the provider should compensate Skype and Skype should compensate its customers even if its a £5.00 to say sorry for an on going 24 hr issue so far
Wonderful App! SHARING WITH ALL HUMANITY! Pass it on.
I ve used it before for many decades but it was very expensive back then and had now technology had advanced so there wasn’t any need for Skype App from Microsoft company and haven’t used for some time Because of endless problems and still with sound problems on my landline number & all smartphones, devices with poor mobile & wifi connections I decide$ to come back to Skype and all people told me that Skype was the best option with a subscription and worth trying it out again after many decades. This is life with all technology and with all things I have experienced in my lifetime after our lives washed away in our old age & regardless of young & old we all have our health issues too making it more difficult to move forward due to our health.
